Hello everybody! Welcome back to E³ (E-cubed). Today we have a great verb: to dazzle, to dazzle. If something dazzles, it’s very bright, it’s very shining, it’s very exciting, it’s frilling. Wow! It’s dazzling. So once again, very bright, like lights, like Hollywood lights or very shine, like diamonds, it sounds very nice, very exciting. So, a dazzling show, a dazzling coach. No, I’m not dazzling, but my watch is kind of dazzling, wow, it’s kinda dirty, sorry, wow, now it’s dazzling. Nice watch, I got it as a gift couple of years ago. My dazzling watch does not go well with my undazzling, non-dazzling image. Some English teachers are very dazzling, they have perfect teeth, they look very proper and they talk very nicely. And then there is Coach Shane. Not very dazzling. Doesn’t shave, bald, ugly teeth, wears t-shirts, I’m a coach! Give me a break. So I’m not dazzling. Often my lessons are a little bit dazzling, exciting. Remember, dazzling can also mean exciting. Olá pessoal! Bem-vindo de volta ao E³ (e-cubo). Hoje temos um grande verbo: deslumbrar, ofuscar. Se algo deslumbra, é muito brilhante, é muito ofuscante, é muito emocionante, é enfeitado. Uau! É deslumbrante. Então, mais uma vez, muito brilhante, como luzes, como luzes de Hollywood ou muito brilho, como diamantes, soa muito bonito, muito emocionante. Então, um show deslumbrante, um treinador deslumbrante. Não, eu não sou deslumbrante, mas meu relógio é tipo deslumbrante, uau, está meio sujo, desculpe, uau, agora está deslumbrante. Relógio agradável, eu ganhei como um presente alguns anos atrás. Meu relógio deslumbrante não vai bem com a minha não deslumbrante imagem, não ofuscante. Alguns professores de inglês são muito deslumbrantes, eles têm dentes perfeitos, eles se mostram muito adequados e eles falam muito bem. E depois há Coach Shane. Não muito deslumbrante. Não faz a barba, dentes feios, carecas, usa camisetas, eu sou um treinador! Dá um tempo. Então, eu não sou deslumbrante. Muitas vezes, as minhas aulas são um pouco deslumbrantes, emocionantes. Lembre-se, deslumbrante também pode significar emocionante. Vamos ver um diálogo:
