Hello everybody! Welcome back to E³ (E-cubed). Today we have a good expression: to face the music. You need to face the music, it’s time to face the music, he should face the music. What does face the music mean? Face the music means look at the truth, don’t lie to yourself. That’s what it means. Face the music, this is the idea, the music is coming from over here, the music is the truth, and you should look at the truth. Don’t deny the music, don’t deny the truth. You need to face the music. O que aceitar a realidade quer dizer? Encarar os fatos significa olhar para a verdade, não minta para si mesmo. É isso que significa. Aceite a realidade, essa é a ideia, os fatos estão chegando aqui, a realidade é a verdade, e você deve encarar a verdade. Não negue os fatos, não negue a realidade. É preciso encarar os fatos. Você precisa olhar para os fatos. Olhe para a verdade. Normalmente, usamos esta expressão para incentivar alguém a parar de fazer alguma coisa ou talvez começar a fazer alguma coisa. Por exemplo, quando se trata de ensinar Inglês, eu digo aos meus amigos professores, é preciso encarar os fatos, você precisa começar a ensinar Inglês online. Aceite a realidade, olhe para os fatos. As pessoas gostam de estudar em casa, as pessoas não gostam de estudar em sala de aula. Claro que estudar na sala de aula é bom, mas muitas pessoas estão ocupadas e elas gostam de estudar em casa, elas gostam de estudar usando seus telefones, seu tablet, você precisa encarar a realidade e começar a ensinar online. Mas aí eu teria mais concorrência. Isso não é uma boa ideia. Não diga a seu professor favorito para ensinar Inglês online. Eu quero ter monopólio. Tudo bem. Vamos ver o diálogo:

Shane, eu acho que você deveria parar de tentar ser engraçado.

Mas, talvez eu devesse dar risadas mais engraçadas...
